About the role
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating purchasing, inventory availability, order fulfillment, and logistics activities to ensure products are delivered to customers on time and in full. The role oversees the flow of orders from receipt through delivery, maintains ERP system accuracy, supports procurement activities, and works closely with suppliers, warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and transportation partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate order scheduling and fulfillment activities.
- Monitor order progress and manage delivery commitments.
- Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, receiving, and shipping transactions in the ERP system.
- Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and data integrity initiatives.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Track supplier deliveries, lead times, shortages, and quality concerns.
- Coordinate transportation and shipment activities.
- Communicate inventory availability and replenishment timelines.
- Resolve logistics, delivery, inventory, and product-related issues.
- Support process improvements and operational performance initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, procurement, supply chain, or operations coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience using ERP systems in a distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment.
