Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting transportation and supply chain activities by coordinating shipments, maintaining logistics records, and communicating with internal teams and external service providers. The role helps ensure that logistics processes are organized and completed according to operational requirements. This position can be performed remotely from home, allowing the Logistics Coordinator to manage logistics documentation, coordinate shipments, monitor transportation activities, and communicate with teams and service providers through digital platforms and communication tools.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics activities, including shipment planning and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory movements, and logistics documentation using digital systems.
- Prepare shipping documents and verify information for transportation processes.
- Monitor shipment status and communicate updates regarding delays or changes through email, phone, and online communication platforms.
- Support coordination between suppliers, carriers, and internal departments in a remote work environment.
- Review logistics data to identify issues and improve operational processes.
- Manage scheduling information for deliveries and transportation activities using logistics software and digital tools.
- Analyse logistics reports and maintain accurate operational records.
- Collaborate with team members and external partners through virtual meetings and communication platforms to resolve transportation and delivery concerns.
- Ensure timely completion of logistics tasks while working independently from a home office.
Requirements
- Experience with logistics coordination, transportation, or supply chain activities.
- Knowledge of shipment procedures and logistics documentation.
- Ability to organize schedules, records, and operational information in digital systems.
- Proficiency with computer systems, logistics software, and standard office applications.

Pay: $82,000.00-$87,000.00 per year
