Job Summary:
We are looking to add Precast Concrete Labourers to our team. Work is done in a shop and is Monday to Friday.
To be successful, you should be work with little supervision and complete tasks given.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform challenging tasks with your hands
- Ability to kneel, bend and lift heavy materials
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and or reliable transportation
- First aid and other training certificates are considered an asset but not needed
- Ability to read blueprint is an asset
- Carpentry and precast concrete experience will be highly considered
- CSTS 2020 Certifications
Position Responsibilities:
- Set up the forms
- Pouring and vibrating concrete
- Review rebar or wire mesh placement used to reinforce the concrete
- Spreading and smoothing concrete
- Edging precast with hand tools
- Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish
