Avalon Ford has an immediate opening for a Parts Clerk at our St. John’s location. We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual who is interested in building a long-term, full-time career in the automotive industry.
The successful candidate will assist customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, maintain inventory accuracy, receive and stock parts shipments, and provide excellent customer service. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Able to work effectively as a part of a team
- Understanding of inventory control
- Automotive parts & accessory knowledge considered an asset
Duties
- Promote and sell parts and accessories to meet customer needs
- Assist retail, wholesale and internal customers in selecting required parts and accessories in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Invoice, pick, fill and verify orders
- Keep customer notified regarding special orders
- Collecting payments
- Stocking shelves/ warehouse duties
- Ability to move around and fill in where needed
