SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager is a dynamic revenue generator and relationship builder responsible for proactively driving group and catering revenues through strategic account development, market penetration, and client engagement. This role will focus primarily on Association, Government, Corporate, and SMERFE market segments while supporting overall hotel revenue objectives.
In addition to the base salary, compensation for this role includes a annual performance bonus of up to 30%
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively solicit, develop, and grow new and existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities to increase occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total hotel revenue.
- Conduct outside sales calls, client entertainment, and other networking activities to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms while maximizing profitability.
- Participate in sales missions, trade shows, industry events, and Marriott/Atlific sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and event planning process.
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless execution of contracted business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive hotel sales experience within the hospitality industry.
- Marriott brand experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Agency360, CI/TY, and hotel CRM platforms considered an asset.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong knowledge of group sales, negotiations, prospecting, and account management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Marriott sales systems.
