About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our estimating efforts on commercial and residential projects. This is a key role within the organization, requiring a seasoned professional who can manage the full estimating cycle with confidence and accuracy. The Senior Estimator will work closely with the Chief Estimator and serve as a mentor to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural and engineering drawings and specifications in detail
- Produce clear, thorough, and accurate quantity take-offs
- Assemble complete estimates and proposals for commercial and residential projects
- Attend site meetings and pre-bid walkthroughs as required
- Collaborate with the Chief Estimator to prioritize projects and manage the quoting schedule
- Assist in procuring materials and equipment for awarded projects
- Mentor and support Junior Estimators in developing their skills
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and/or residential estimating
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven track record of producing accurate, competitive estimates
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Planswift, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field is an asset

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
