We are AVA Fitness Movement Studios, a fun, empowering, and fast-paced pole dance and fitness space in the heart of downtown New Westminster, and we’re looking for a Studio Coordinator to join our incredible team!
This is not your typical front desk job. As a Studio Coordinator, you’ll be:
- The first point of contact and a warm welcome for every client who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do:
Front Desk + Customer Service
- Greet students and guests warmly, answer questions, and offer excellent in-person and phone/email support.
- Handle bookings, membership setup, and class registrations with accuracy and care using our studio management system.
- Monitor and respond to voicemail and text inquiries through our online booking platform in a professional, timely manner.
Membership & Sales Support
- Confidently explain our membership options and recommend the best packages and classes based on client goals.
- Process payments for memberships, drop-ins, events, and retail items.
- Assist with student onboarding and ensure all members feel supported and informed.
Studio Prep & Cleaning
- Arrive before class time to prepare the space for classes.
- Complete a checklist of opening tasks, including:
- Sweeping and steam-cleaning floors in pole, aerial, and reception areas.
- Cleaning mirrors and dusting reception and studio shelving.
- Sanitizing equipment and high-touch areas.
- Restocking and cleaning bathrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, paper products).
- Emptying trash and tidying reception.
- Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming vibe throughout the shift.
Studio Operations
- Ensure the studio is organized, clean, and ready for classes each day.
- Work independently and efficiently during solo shifts.
Team & Instructor Liaison
- Communicate student messages or concerns to the appropriate instructor or manager.
- Help enforce studio policies in a warm and professional way to maintain a respectful and welcoming environment.
Marketing & Social Media Support
- Assist with posting class reminders, events, and promotions on our social media
- Repost tagged stories from students and share content that reflects our vibrant studio culture.
Event Assistance
- Help plan, promote, and run events like showcases, fundraisers, and community pop-ups.
- Be a welcoming presence at studio hosted events and assist with logistics and setup as needed.
Who You Are:
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and loves meeting new people.
- Highly organized and proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do.
- A strong multitasker who can juggle admin, cleaning, and customer service with ease.
- Professional and reliable with strong communication skills.
- A team player who’s also confident working solo.
- Passionate about movement, wellness, or the performing arts (bonus if you love pole, dance, or aerial arts!).
Hours:
- We’re currently looking to fill the following shifts (you must be available for all):
- Sundays 11:00AM-4:00PM
- Tuesdays 4:00–9:00PM
- Saturdays 4:00-9:00PM
- Select Fridays from 4-8:30PM
- Additional on-call or coverage shifts may also be available.
