Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Toronto, ON, for a Cashier/Barista at Aroma Espresso Bar. The role involves providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions at the cash register, and preparing specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, stocking supplies, and assisting with food preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- Customer service and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Cash handling, transaction processing, and basic math skills for operating a cash register
- Basic knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and preparing high-quality coffee beverages
- Organizational skills, cleanliness, and attention to detail for maintaining a sanitary and well-organized workspace
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Prior experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
