Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical engineering discipline

Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT / CPI)

Willingness to obtain a professional engineering license in Ontario and other Canadian provinces as required (fees covered by the company)

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
Technical Skills

Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in service, maintenance, commissioning, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment

Electrical knowledge

Civil engineering knowledge

Project management experience

Proficiency with standard computer tools and 2D/3D design software (Microsoft Office Suite, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, SAP2000, etc.)

ASP Health and Safety on Construction Sites certification (an asset)

English proficiency is required, as the position involves regular coordination of directives and technical support from the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group, particularly for construction sites. The role also requires communication with various group entities or suppliers located outside Québec. These interactions may include technical discussions related to parts, interpretation of drawings, resolution of urgent field issues, and logistical follow‑ups.
