We are currently looking to fill the following position:
Production Engineer (Calgary)
We are currently seeking a Production Engineer to join our team. This position will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to apply and further develop their engineering skills within the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and recommend production optimization opportunities
- Review non-active wells to identify and recommend reactivation, recompletion and workover candidates
- Develop and execute well work programs, including economic evaluations and post-job reviews
- Analyze the effectiveness of optimization projects and track results against forecasts and budgets
- Review opportunities for operating cost reduction, including electrical, chemical and fuel/flare/vent management
- Work closely with field operations staff and visit field operating areas to gather data and support engineering decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production or operations engineering experience in Western Canada
- Engineering degree or engineering technologist degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Successful candidate must be able to work independently within a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with production data and reporting systems (e.g., Excel, production accounting/field data capture software) an asset
- Willingness to travel
