Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pizza Store Supervisor to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a solid background in restaurant management. This role involves overseeing food preparation, maintaining high standards of customer service, and managing staff to deliver an exceptional service. Previous experience in food industry settings, including hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments, is highly valued. The Pizza Store Supervisor will play a key role in supervising team members, ensuring food safety compliance, and fostering a positive work environment. Permanent residency support will be provided to the right candidate upon successful completion of the probationary period.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining food safety standards.
- Manage food handling and cooking processes, including pizza preparation and other menu items.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new staff members to build a competent team.
- Monitor kitchen activities, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation.
- Lead by example in hospitality, serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Conduct regular staff training on food safety, food handling, and service procedures.
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies and achieving operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management; supervising experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management and interviewing candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor suitable for supervising staff and interacting with customers. Pay: From $19.00 per hour
