Hours: 8 Hours - Day/ Afternoon/ Swing and Night Rotation
Week 1 - Days - Monday to Friday - 0700-1500
Week 2 - Nights - Sunday 2300-1100 Monday to Thursday - 2300-0700
Week 3 - Swing - Sunday/ Monday/ Friday/ Saturday - 1100-2300/1500-2300/2300-0700/2300-1100
Week 4 - Afternoons -Tuesday to Friday - 1500-2300/ Saturday - 1100-2300
Pay Rate: $21-22.50/ an hour

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Dispatchers and Video Surveillance Analysts

Performance Management: Set and monitor operational targets (KPIs); provide regular feedback and support for dispatcher performance

Quality Assurance: Audit call logs, radio transmissions, and incident documentation for accuracy and service standards

Incident Support: Step in during high-demand periods or critical incidents, providing hands-on support and coordination

Liaison: Serve as the main contact for external agencies (police, fire, EMS) and internal campus partners regarding communications

Training & Development: Organize ongoing training, system upgrades, and process improvements for the SOC team

Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and annual performance reports; recommend operational improvements

Policy Compliance: Ensure all dispatch and surveillance activities meet Seneca and legal standards

Technology Management: Oversee use of security technology (CCTV, access control, incident management software) and recommend upgrades or improvements

Team Culture: Build a positive, resilient, and high-performing SOC team through recognition, coaching, and open communication
Qualifications
-
2+ years’ experience in dispatch/security operations
-
Valid Ontario Security License
-
WSIB Approved Standard First Aid/CPR Level C
-
Post-secondary education, APCO Certificate preferred

Leadership experience
-
Superior organizational, analytical, and people skills

Legally Authorized to work in Canada

Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training
-
The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position
