Corporate Legislative Manager — City Clerk's Office
City of Prince Albert | Permanent Full Time | Closing July 14, 2026
The City of Prince Albert is hiring a Corporate Legislative Manager to lead governance, legislative, and administrative services within the City Clerk's Office. This role oversees Council and Committee processes, quasi-judicial proceedings, and municipal and in-City school board elections.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead legislative standards development across City departments
- Plan and manage municipal and school board elections, including budgeting and communications
- Mentor and supervise staff
- Advise Council, Committees, and the public on legislation and governance
- Manage Council/Committee meeting administration and post-meeting directives
- Act on behalf of the City Clerk when delegated
What you bring: a degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field plus 5 years' related experience (or 8 years of progressively responsible municipal government experience), OR a Certificate in Local Government Administration plus 3 years' experience.
