Journeyman Glazier – Commercial Construction
Commercial glass and aluminum contractor serving Calgary and projects throughout Alberta is seeking a Journeyman Glazier to complete commercial projects. This role is responsible for working with or leading installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and efficient jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Install curtain wall, storefront, aluminum doors & hardware, and glazing systems
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Review drawings and installation instructions to ensure accuracy
- Monitor progress and report updates to Foreman/ Supervisor
- Maintain jobsite organization and material usage
- Enforce safety protocols and professional conduct on site
- Assist in training and mentoring team members
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in commercial glazing installation or similar construction trades
- Proven ability to work with a team and maintain productivity
- Familiarity with curtain wall, storefront, aluminum door systems, & other interior and exterior glazing systems
- Strong communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
