Resilient IT is a Managed IT Services provider based in South Surrey, BC. We support business clients with recurring managed services and project-based work. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper / Finance Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day bookkeeping and finance admin functions.
Job Summary
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants a long-term, stable position — not multiple side-gigs. You’ll own the bookkeeping cycle, support compliance deadlines, and help leadership stay on top of cash flow, receivables, and reporting.
Duties
·Manage accounts receivable end-to-end: invoice generation, sending, tracking, follow-up, collections, and reconciliation
·Maintain recurring monthly invoicing in QuickBooks Online
·Process one-time/project invoices accurately and on time
·Manage accounts payable and vendor records as needed
·Process payroll and related remittances
·Prepare and file GST/PST remittances
·Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger balances
·Support month-end and year-end close
·Prepare A/R aging, cash flow, and summary financial reporting for leadership
·Prepare year-end working papers and coordinate with the external accountant
·Help improve internal controls, documentation, and finance processes
About the Business
·QuickBooks Online environment
·Approx. 1,000 invoices/year
·Approx. 60 recurring monthly managed IT invoices
·Approx. 25 one-time invoices/month
·Small team, fast-moving service business
·High trust role with direct impact on operations and cash flow
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
·5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience
·Strong QuickBooks Online experience
·Experience with Canadian payroll, payroll remittances, and GST/PST filings
·Strong accounts receivable / collections experience
·Experience reconciling multiple accounts accurately and on time
·Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
·Able to work independently with minimal supervision
·Available to work 1-2 days/month in-office in South Surrey
Preferred
·Experience in a managed services, recurring revenue, or service-based business
·Experience supporting year-end close and external accountant handoff
·Local to Surrey / South Surrey / White Rock / Langley / Delta
