Presidential Management Group is seeking a highly organized and dependable Part-Time Maintenance Coordinator to join our property management team in Penticton.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service. As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for maintenance requests, ensuring work orders are assigned, tracked, and completed efficiently while keeping tenants and maintenance staff informed throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Receive and coordinate maintenance requests from tenants.
- Schedule and dispatch maintenance technicians based on priority and availability.
- Create, update, and manage work orders in Buildium.
- Coordinate repairs with outside contractors and vendors when required.
- Communicate with tenants regarding maintenance scheduling and completion.
- Monitor outstanding work orders and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Assist with scheduling preventative maintenance.
- Provide administrative support to the Property Management team as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, scheduling, dispatch, or maintenance coordination role is preferred.
- Experience with Buildium or other property management software is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks.
- Experience in property management is considered an asset.
