Responsibilities

Prepare customer-supplied artwork for digital print production.

Review files for accuracy, printability, and production requirements.
-
Preflight PDFs and other print-ready files.
-
Perform imposition, bleed, trim, and colour verification.
-
Make minor artwork edits and corrections as required.
-
Troubleshoot file issues and communicate with customer service or clients when necessary.
-
Operate and manage digital print workflows.
-
Ensure all jobs meet quality standards before going to production.
-
Prioritize multiple jobs while meeting tight production deadlines.
-
Maintain organized digital files and production records.
Qualifications
-
Strong understanding of digital print workflows and file preparation.
-
Proficiency with:
-
Adobe Acrobat Pro
-
Adobe InDesign
-
Adobe Illustrator
-
Adobe Photoshop
-
Experience with PDF preflighting and imposition software.
-
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Assets
The following would be considered strong assets:
-
Knowledge of offset printing processes and prepress requirements.
-
Experience with variable data printing (VDP).
-
Familiarity with Quite Imposing
