We are seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team in Home Renovations. This role involves transforming residential and commercial spaces through a variety of construction, restoration, and finishing projects. Candidates will work on diverse tasks ranging from framing and carpentry to electrical and plumbing installations, contributing to high-quality renovation outcomes. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in construction trades, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall work
- Execute concrete forming, finishing, and masonry tasks with precision
- Conduct electrical wiring, plumbing installations, and electrical experience as required by project specifications
- Apply caulking, painting, and restoration techniques to enhance the quality of finished work
- Utilize construction estimating skills for material planning and project timelines
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or excavators when necessary for site preparation or material handling
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, or related fields
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, tile laying, flooring installation, welding, and other relevant skills
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and project management fundamentals is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely (training provided if necessary)
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Certification or licensing in relevant trades is preferred but not mandatory
