Job Description:
Quidi Vidi Brewery is proud to be the largest craft brewery in Newfoundland, and we are excited to grow our team! Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Production Coordinator is responsible for the development and maintenance of production schedules that ensure production is completed on time while optimizing labour, packaging lines, and material availability. You will work closely with various departments to support production and sales goals. Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and monitor the production plan and adjust schedules in response to changing priorities, material shortages, or equipment downtime.
· Work with sales and operations teams to develop and monitor planning and scheduling documents to support operations, including the brewing schedule, release plan and packaging splits.
· Monitor inventory and work closely with the Procurement Officer to ensure various components are available when needed
· Oversee and participate in regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
· Work closely with the brewing and packaging teams to forecast material needs and plan purchases accordingly to understand their requirements
· Ensure inventory levels are adequate to meet upcoming production and sales demands without overstocking
· Daily reconciliation of production, warehousing and brewery transfer records within company ERP to ensure accuracy and accountability
· Prepare and present regular reports on production activities, finished goods inventory levels and operational yields
· Facilitate the packaging artwork process between marketing/sales teams, procurement and vendors
· Assist in budget preparation and cost management efforts
·Collaborate with key stakeholders to fulfil audit requirements
·Work closely with the Director of Operations and Finance team to develop COGS projections and variance analysis
Required Knowledge and Experience:
· Degree or diploma in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
· Proven experience in scheduling, procurement, supply chain management, or inventory coordination, preferably in the food and beverage industry
· Strong negotiation and communication skills
· Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Passion for craft beer and knowledge of brewing ingredients and processes is a plus
