Near North Customs Brokers is seeking a Full-Time CARM Specialist. In this role you will provide support to new and existing clients, and internal employee queries with a strong adherence to CBSA requirements.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Register and train customers on the CARM portal
- Apply for surety bonds
- Assist customers with general CARM queries
- Reconcile CARM accounts
- Accurately maintain records and follow-up with clients to facilitate timely completion
- Build and maintain excellent communication with clients and colleagues
- Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from clients and internal departments
Shift: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm MT
Qualifications
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
- Customs experience, knowledge of the CBSA processes
- Proficient written and verbal English Communication skills
- Strict attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
- Innovative, flexible, able to deal with change
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and efficiently and work well under pressure
- Excellent problem solving and mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills and diplomacy to deal with difficult people
- Strong computer skills
- Self direct and self motivated and a team player that enjoys a values driven organization
