Position Overview
The Educator/Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. This position involves greeting customers, providing informed product recommendations, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to upholding the standards and values of the Element Cannabis brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Educate customers on cannabis products, accessories, usage methods, and responsible consumption
- Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and preferences
- Process sales accurately using the POS system and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, including displays and work areas
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and restocking as needed
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales targets and maintain a positive workplace atmosphere

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of cannabis retail experience (required)
- 1 year of cannabis or cannabis-related industry experience (required)
- CannSell / Selling It Right certification (required)
- Strong cannabis product knowledge
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable demeanor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and professionalism when handling difficult situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Background check required
- Secondary school education (preferred)
- Valid driver’s licence (preferred)
