Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable end Dump operator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Operate end dump to transport materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, and other construction materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to determine delivery schedules and routes.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the dump truck as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
