POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our Parts Department.
The successful candidate will help customers identify, source, and purchase heavy-duty truck and trailer components. This position combines customer service, technical sales, quoting, order processing, invoicing, inventory coordination, and returns.

- Agricultural or construction equipment
- Industrial parts and supplies

- Warehousing and distribution
- Mechanical repair or maintenance
- Technical, counter, or inside sales
- Fleet or commercial vehicle operations
Experience with truck parts is an asset, but we'll also consider candidates who show mechanical aptitude, reliability, curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist customers at the parts counter and through telephone and email inquiries.
- Understand customer requirements and gather the information needed to identify the correct components.
- Identify and recommend appropriate replacement parts for trucks and trailers using vehicle applications, specifications, part numbers and component details.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, credits and related sales documentation.
- Process customer payments and accurately record sales transactions.
- Confirm product pricing, inventory availability, lead times and order status.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, service and accounting personnel to fulfil customer orders.
- Support product returns, warranty matters and remanufactured core processing.
- Follow up on quotations, backorders and outstanding customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer, product and transaction information in the company’s ERP system.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock verification and parts organization when required.
- Investigate and help resolve order discrepancies, incorrect parts, fitment concerns, and customer service issues.
- Maintain an organized work area and complete routine departmental responsibilities.
- Support other members of the Parts Department as operational requirements demand.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in customer service, inside sales, counter sales, parts, warehousing, distribution, mechanical service or another relevant industry.
- Demonstrated interest in parts, equipment, vehicles or mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate order processing.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong telephone and customer-service skills.
- Ability to research information and solve problems methodically.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple customer requests and daily responsibilities.
- Proficiency with computers, email, and general business software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dependable work habits and willingness to accept responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lb as required for the position.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous heavy-duty truck, trailer, or commercial vehicle parts experience.
- Experience in automotive, agricultural, construction, industrial or equipment parts.
- Knowledge of air brake, suspension, steering, wheel-end, electrical or related mechanical components.
- Experience with parts identification, cross-referencing, fitment or application research.
- Experience using OEM or aftermarket parts catalogues.
- Experience with ERP, inventory-management or point-of-sale software.
- Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience processing warranty claims, product returns or remanufactured cores.
COMPENSATION
The annual salary range is $50,000–$60,000. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, technical knowledge, customer-service ability and demonstrated qualifications.
