We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the legal team of a diversified real estate and property management organization, supporting commercial leasing, real estate transactions, corporate governance, and legal operations in a fast-paced, business-focused environment.
Draft, review, and administer commercial and real estate lease agreements, including renewals, amendments, assignments, defaults, and landlord-tenant documentation.
Provide legal support for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development, construction, vendor contracts, and property management matters.
Coordinate legal documentation and support leasing, asset management, operations, and executive teams on day-to-day legal matters.
Assist with corporate governance, continuous disclosure, and regulatory compliance for a publicly traded company.
Conduct legal research, review contracts, identify legal risks, and escalate issues where appropriate.
Support litigation management and coordinate with external legal counsel on disputes and legal proceedings.
Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and internal processes to improve operational efficiency and risk management.
Manage legal files, deadlines, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide practical, business-focused legal support across multiple business units.
Post-secondary education in Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, or a related field.
Paralegal designation or equivalent legal support experience preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive legal support experience, preferably in real estate, commercial leasing, or property management.
Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate leases.
Strong understanding of commercial transactions, contract administration, and legal processes.
Experience supporting real estate acquisitions, financing, development, or property operations is an asset.
Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance for public companies is considered an asset.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
