About Royal Decks and Landscapes
Royal Decks + Landscapes has been building premium outdoor living spaces throughout the GTA since 2005. We specialize in custom decks, outdoor structures, landscaping, and backyard transformations. We are looking for a dependable and organized Construction Materials Handler & Driver to support our crews by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are where they need to be when they need them.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in construction, landscaping, building materials, lumber yards, or a related industry who enjoys a combination of physical work, driving, equipment operation, and independent responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials in the yard
- Prepare and stage materials for upcoming projects
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites across the GTA
- Pick up materials from suppliers and manufacturers
- Drive a pickup truck and trailer safely and professionally
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard
- Assist with inventory organization and material tracking
- Handle material returns, exchanges, and supplier pickups
- Communicate with project managers and site crews regarding material needs
- Inspect deliveries to ensure materials are complete and in good condition
- Help keep equipment, trailers, and storage areas organized and ready for use
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with construction, decking, landscaping, lumber, or building materials
- Valid G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a pickup truck and towing a trailer
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Skid steer experience is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your day effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Physically capable of loading, unloading, and moving construction materials
