SUMMARY:
Join the prestigious Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC), a year-round private club with Island and City Clubhouses in Toronto, offering outstanding service across Sailing, Food & Beverage, Fitness, and Sports facilities. As a Bartender, you’ll play an integral role in delivering a premium beverage service to Members and guests across lounges, restaurants, banquets, and Club events. Your ability to mix excellent drinks, offer professional service, and maintain a clean and organized bar will help create memorable experiences at RCYC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to Members, guests, and service staff.

Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage menus, wines, and daily specials.

Set up and clean bar areas before and after service,always ensuring readiness.

Provide table service and counter service as needed.

Support lounge and banquet bar operations, including weddings, regattas, and private events.

Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and the Club’s Zero Tolerance Alcohol Policy.
HOURS OF WORK

Seasonal position (typically May to October), with full-time or part-time availability - possibility to continue part-time

Must be available for days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to commute to the Island Clubhouse via launch (150 Cherry St.) when scheduled.
