A heavy civil construction group in Ancaster, Hamilton, ON, is hiring a 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on fleet trucks and heavy equipment. Ideal candidates are experienced in fleet maintenance and skilled with hydraulics, electrical, and diesel systems.

- Inspect and diagnose vehicles, equipment, and components for defects, damage, or wear.
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and preventative maintenance repairs.
- Order and track required parts and ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily maintenance logs and repair cost estimates.
- Test vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure all vehicles meet provincial inspection standards and safety regulations.
- Work in both shop and outdoor environments, including exposure to weather.
Requirements:
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician certification.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- 3+ years of experience servicing trucks and/or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems with solid diagnostic ability.
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy components and performing hands-on repairs.
Preferred:
- Experience with snow and ice control equipment such as salters, spreaders, loaders, graders, and backhoes.
- Familiarity with electronic control and advanced hydraulic systems.

Compensation:
$38.00 – $45.00/hour starting pay based on experience, certifications, and training.
Annual performance-based bonus.
