Aero Trading Co. Ltd. Is accepting application for a Part – Time Winch/HIAB Operator for their Port Edward, BC location.

As a HIAB operator with Aero Trading, you will play a key role in supporting the receiving and shipping of our wide range of commercial fishing products.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to:
· Using the winch to off load fish from boats that have many different size openings
· Lowering pallets of equipment and large boat equipment on to boats
· Using winch to unload ice and load ice onto boat decks and hatches
· Daily equipment inspection sheets for the winch and HIAB
· Preforming duties in all weather conditions
· Must be capable of working safely in a busy environment with people around the dock
· Upkeep and cleaning of the HIAB and winch
· Cleaning dock and dock equipment after use
· In house practical and written examination about the winch and HIAB as well as yearly review
· Applicant must have experience operating a winch and HIAB.
· This is a part time position that can lead into full time for the right person. Wages depend on experience, skills, and ability.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Port Edward, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Operating a winch or HIAB: 1 year (preferred)
