Coloured Aggregates Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Marmora, Ontario. This hands-on position is ideal for an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in aggregate, crushing, mining, or quarry operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mobile and stationary equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment including, but not limited to:
- Crushers (mobile and stationary)
- Screen plants (mobile and stationary)
- Belt conveyors
- Screw conveyors
- Bucket elevators
- Grinding mills
- Air classifiers
- Dust collection systems
- Packaging and material handling equipment
- Mobile plant and associated equipment
Additional duties include:
- Preventive maintenance inspections
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
- Welding and fabrication repairs
- Equipment installation and modifications
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Assisting with plant shutdowns and major repairs as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a crushing and screening operation is required
- Experience performing maintenance and repairs on industrial processing equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience considered a strong asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
Assets
- Previous mining, quarry, or aggregate industry experience
- Surface Miner Common Core certification (training may be provided for the right candidate)
- Heavy equipment maintenance experience
