Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our worksite, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a safe, organized environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to contributing to team success.
Duties
Snow Removal
- Shovel snow from sidewalks, driveways, walkways, and job sites
- Operate snow blowers and small equipment (if trained)
- Apply salt, sand, or de-icing materials
- Clear snow and ice around entrances, drains, and work areas
- Load and unload snow removal tools and materials
- Work in cold and winter conditions, including early mornings or overnight shifts
Asphalt Work
- Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and repair
- Rake, shovel, and spread hot asphalt material
- Clean and prepare surfaces (sweeping, grading, removing debris)
- Support roller and paving machine operations
- Direct traffic and ensure site safety when required
- Perform general site cleanup after paving
Concrete Work
- Assist with forming, pouring, and finishing concrete
- Carry and place forms, rebar, and mesh
- Mix concrete and transport materials
- Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, and floats
- Remove forms and clean tools after concrete sets
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
Experience
- Prior experience in manual labor, construction, or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Basic understanding of workplace safety standards is desirable but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are important for consistent attendance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 60 per week
