Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate staff, manage sales activities, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive individual capable of multitasking, implementing merchandising strategies, and maintaining store standards. Bilingual abilities and prior supervisory experience are highly valued to support diverse customer needs and team development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Manage and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Oversee merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, participate in interviewing candidates, and assist with onboarding new employees
- Manage payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately
- Oversee inventory purchasing, stock replenishment, and POS system operations
- Develop marketing initiatives to promote store products and services
- Monitor sales performance and implement sales management strategies to meet targets
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and operational procedures
- Facilitate communication between staff members and upper management to promote a cohesive work environment
Experience
- Proven supervisory or team management experience in retail or related fields
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, marketing, and sales management
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, pricing strategies, and customer service techniques
- Ability to train staff effectively while managing time efficiently
- Leadership qualities with a focus on training & development and organizational skills
- Prior experience in supervising teams within a retail setting is highly desirable
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
