Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, whether in a Casual fine dining restaurant, pub or cocktail lounge. * Subsidized Staff housing is available for full time employees.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards & recipes and customer preferences
- Provide Great Hospitality by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Squirrel for order processing and payment transactions
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately while adhering to company policies
- Assist in inventory management
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in cocktail preparation
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in fine dining, pub or cocktail lounge
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus
