General Labourer/ Driver
ITE Rentals is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of the steel industrial sector in Hamilton, ON. We specialize in rentals, sales, & service of industrial Tools and equipment, specifically: Millwrighting, Iron-working, Elevator & Escalator, Steel, Rail and Shipping Industries. We are looking for a hardworking and ambitious person to assist with general shop duties and deliveries/ pick-ups.
Duties:
- Equipment deliveries and pick-ups
- Operation of power equipment including forklift
- Cleaning and servicing equipment
- General shop duties
- Occasionally may be required to work in dirty environments, some heavy lifting And repetitive task are to be anticipated
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s licenses in the province
Of Ontario ( G or equivalent) with a clean drivers abstract.
- Comfortable driving for long periods, must have a good sense of direction.
- Confident and capable of pulling and loading trailer with pick-up truck.
- Comfortable around large equipment and busy work sites.
- Must have excellent customer services skills, as you will be an ambassador for our company with in the industry.
- Mechanical experience not required but a definite asset.
- Physically active, able to lift 50 lbs above waist.
