EUROPEAN NURSES : In order to practice in Canada, you must be a member of a professional order here. Quebec accepts nurses practicing in France provided they have completed a 75-day internship in a hospital setting. If you do not hold a license to practice in Quebec/Canada, we appreciate your interest, but your application will not be considered.

Sirius Wilderness Medecine (SIRIUSMEDx) is a Canadian company founded in 1990 that specializes in providing medical support services in remote regions. Over the years, we have become the largest provider of remote area safety training in Canada!

Description des tâches

- Administering all required to ill or injured workers supported by a remote on-call physician and our collectives prescriptions;
- Facilitating the organization and establisgment of the structure enabling the reception and treatment of injured or ill workers ;
- Keeping inventory of care products and medications up-to-date;
- Obtaining health histories of all workers on site and compiling this information into worker files;
- Provinding first aid training to workers;
- Conducting audits and inspections of camp safety systems;
- Participating in site communication procedures;
- Documenting and archiving notes regarding any work-related incident/accident;
- Performing any other low-risk related tasks as requested by the client or their representative..

Profil recherché

- Experience in a similar position on industrial sites, in remote areas ;
- Member of the nursing regulatory authority in the applicable province ;
- Completed the Extended Role Nursing Training (asset) ;
- Demonstrated adaptability, initiative and resourcefulness;
- Being passionate for providing care in remote areas.

Horaire

Rotation every 2 or 3 weeks

Shift

Varies between 10 and 12 hours depending on assignment

Environment

Our work environment is in remote areas, in communion with nature. The majority of our projects are mining or construction sites!

Lodging

Employees are accommodated and provided meals at our clients' sites.

Travel

Travel arrangements are managed by the employer, and meal expenses are reimbursed according to the current regulations. You also receive compensation during your travel.

Salary

Starting from $47,32 (based on experience/senority)
