Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our pet care team. This role involves providing professional grooming services to ensure our canine clients look and feel their best. Duties
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of various sizes and breeds
- Trimming fur, nails, and cleaning ears to meet breed standards and owner preferences
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary grooming station
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Handling heavy lifting when necessary for larger dogs or equipment
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process
- Managing appointment schedules and maintaining accurate client records
Experience
- Previous experience in dog grooming or a related pet care field is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling larger dogs or equipment
- Passion for animals with a gentle, caring approach to grooming pets
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically active environment
