Job Description: We are The Gem Boutique! An online crystal and beading supply shop based out of Waterloo Ontario!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customer Service Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily shipping activities and manage our customer service inquiries.
The successful candidate will ensure that multi-tasking is at the forefront of their capabilities and enjoys a fast paced environment. You would be ensuring that all products are shipped accurately, on time, while being very focused on our customers' experience and managing our customer emails and direct messages. This is a fast paced environment and a pep in your step is key to success with us!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the shipping team, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.
- Responding to direct messages and email requests from our customers about purchasing products, the status of their order and any modifications to their orders.
- Schedule and monitor shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Experience with Canada post is an asset.
- Experience with Shopify & ShipStation is an asset for this role
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists etc
- Implement and maintain shipping policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor and track shipping metrics, providing regular updates on orders to management.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping activities and customer package concerns.
Qualifications:
- Retail/call center customer service experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient with Shopify (invoices, products and payment)
- Proficient with ShipStation
- Proficient with Meta Business Suite
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of customer service.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of shipping and shopify are an asset.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
