We are looking for a reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate sewing machines to attach patches and/or labels to promotional garments.
Position start date is expected to be the first week of August.
Location: Southwest Mississauga
Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate sewing machines according to product requirements and schedules.
- Monitor machines and fix minor issues as needed.
- Perform basic machine maintenance.
- Follow work instructions and quality standards.
- Check finished products for defects and quality.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace safety rules.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sewing machine operation, ideally on a Yuki machine
- Employment references required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Warehouse experience is an asset.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
A skills test may be required before being selected for this position.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
