Irrigation Technician
Blacks Irrigation & Fusion Ltd. installs and maintains irrigation systems in the Calgary Area.
As our Irrigation tech, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining irrigation systems Starting up in the spring and winterizing in the fall.
The successful candidate will have the following skill sets:
- Competent to service commercial & residential irrigation systems.
- Be able and willing to trench with equipment and by hand if necessary.
- Ability to start-up & set up on commercial & residential irrigation systems.
- Ability to winterize and clear out commercial & residential irrigation systems.
- Ability to, troubleshoot, adjust heads, and repair irrigation systems.
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$35.00 Based on experience
Key responsibilities:
- Install and maintain irrigation systems for commercial/residential projects.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems.
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
Skills and Experience required:
- At least 1 years of experience in commercial & residential irrigation service & maintenance.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret irrigation system schematics and designs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
You will be expected to complete the following duties under limited supervision:
- Service and maintain irrigation systems.
- Irrigation equipment maintenance, troubleshooting.
- Provide irrigation installation work as required.
- Complete all daily paperwork and provide a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.

- 8–10-hour shift
- Monday to Friday, Saturdays if required
