Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks in reporting issues to management
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition through regular inspection.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent facility upkeep
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in garage or facilities maintenance settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good organizational skills to manage time efficiently during shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
