About the Role:
We are growing and looking for a motivated and organized Engineering Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support project managers and technical staff in keeping engineering projects running smoothly-helping to coordinate deliverables, review work packages, and maintain clear communication across teams and clients. Your proactive approach, problem solving ability, flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges will be central to your success and growth within DMD.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in an engineering, construction, or technical environment
- Experience with document control
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience reviewing or processing work packages, purchase orders, or similar project documentation is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in learning and using specialized software
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Technical aptitude or familiarity with engineering environments is considered an asset
The Successful Applicant Will:
- Support project managers and technical personnel with day-to-day coordination across multiple engineering projects
- Review work packages for completeness and accuracy, ensuring documentation meets project requirements before submission or filing
- Assist with tracking project deliverables and following up on outstanding items to help keep projects on schedule
- Act as a point of contact for clients and internal teams regarding project status and general technical inquiries
- Manage document control, including the organization and filing of engineering materials and work orders
- Process and close engineering work orders through specialized software
- Help develop and maintain project workflow procedures to support team efficiency
- Provide general administrative support to technical staff as needed
