Granum School located in Granum, Alberta is seeking to hire the very best teachers in Alberta! Granum School is a K-9 school with approximately 50 students that operates on a 4-day school week.

We are seeking a temporary full time teacher to teach the Division I class who has a strong background in literacy. This position will include having kindergartens for par of 2 days a week and overseeing the kindergarten staff This position will commence on August 25, 2026 and will end on June 29, 2027.
We are seeking a teacher who has:

A strong background and experience in early education

The ability to work collaboratively as part of an instructional team

The ability to create innovative integrated curriculum units

A background in the use of technology to support student learning

Experience and/or a working knowledge in differentiating instruction in mixed ability and multi-grade classrooms.

Strong organizational and classroom management skills

Knowledge and experience in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is an asset

Experience working with English Language Learners

A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
