- At least one year of professional dog grooming experience.
- Grooming certification, formal schooling, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Confidence handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, temperaments, and coat types.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality grooms.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset.
- Passion for continuous learning and providing exceptional pet care.

- Average of approximately 4–5 dogs per day (depending on breed, size, coat condition, and services requested).

Tips: Groomers receive 100% of gratuities on grooming-only invoices. For invoices that include additional Country Paws DogPlex services (such as boarding or daycare), gratuities are shared proportionately based on the grooming portion of the invoice.
What the Job Requires
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift and safely handle dogs of varying sizes.
- Frequently bend, twist, kneel, and reach.
- Perform repetitive grooming motions throughout the day.
- Thrive in a physically active, fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18.00-$39.00 per hour
