The Learning Hive is a private learning centre and registered private school supporting students from preschool through high school in reading, writing, and mathematics. As both an educational program provider and a private school environment, our organization requires strong daily coordination, clear communication with families, and reliable administrative systems.
We are seeking a highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support the Director in maintaining smooth and consistent school functioning.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, managing details, and helping a busy educational environment run calmly and predictably.
Duties
- Manage the main office email and communication with families
- Coordinate student schedules, placements, and program transitions
- Maintain student registration records, forms, and confidential files
- Prepare invoices and track payments
- Support private school administrative requirements and documentation
- Maintain calendars, room schedules, and daily logistics
- Assist with staff onboarding paperwork and internal communication
- Track supplies and order materials
- Help develop and maintain administrative procedures and checklists
- Provide organizational and administrative support to the Director (calendar coordination, follow-ups, document preparation, and task tracking)

Experience in a school office, clinic, legal office, or administrative coordination role is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
