Overview of the role:
Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a temporary Technician, QC for the summer term .
The Quality Summer Student will support the Quality team with day-to-day quality control activities and validation studies. This role provides hands-on experience in quality systems, inspection processes, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with cross ‑ functional teams.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Support inspection and testing activities in accordance with established quality procedures
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality data to support reporting and improvement efforts
- Help track calibration and document control processes
- Help review quality records and documentation (inspection reports, SOPs, work instructions)
- Assist with inspection and testing of materials, components, or finished products according to established procedures.
- Facilitate quality validation studies.
- Prepare QC samples and arrange shipment of samples to external and internal laboratories.
- Organize and maintain laboratory materials, supplies, and work areas.
- Act as the liaison between QC staff and office leadership.
- Perform other task and other quality-related duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (Quality, Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of quality principles (e.g., inspection, root cause, continuous improvement) is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment .

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.; shift may vary from 8 hrs/day to 10 hrs/day. Must be flexible.
Hourly rate: $22.90
