Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation standards
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations in the food industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to details
