Enlightened Clean Energy focuses on the deployment of renewable technologies that include Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. Working as part of the Projects Team, the Regulatory Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of activities with the various regulatory stakeholders involved each project. The Regulatory Coordinator will also assist in the application and tracking of financial incentives on projects to ensure compliance of all requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Work with the Projects Team to direct and coordinate regulatory submissions for each project

Assemble, submit and track required documents to Electric Utility Companies for the interconnection of renewable energy projects (i.e. Connection Impact Assessments, Connection Agreements, etc.).

Assemble, submit and track required documents for electrical permits for each project (i.e. ESA Plan Review, ESA permits & Inspections).

Assemble, submit and track required building permit documents with respective municipalities for each project (where required).

Coordinate and track the submission of financial incentives available for the various technology streams provided by the company.

Research and understand new financial incentives that come available through regulatory stakeholders.

Assist the business development team with obtaining and analysing information related to the consumption or production of electricity for potential new projects.

Work with various regulatory bodies to submit and track necessary permit applications for projects (LDC, ESA, building permits, etc.).

Report and communicate the progress and status of projects to customers as required.

Compile and submit regulatory documents for project close out packages for customers and ensure all necessary legal and regulatory paperwork is filed.

Monitor regulatory process to ensure projects conform to plans, specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Assisting in providing regulatory information for customer proposals, and marketing material as required.

PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

University Degree, College diploma or related experience required.
-
Working towards PMP designation
-
1-3 years administration experience, including regulatory coordination in the construction or renewable energy industry.

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings and plans is preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills

High level of work accuracy and attention to detail.

General knowledge of and ability to research local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.

Use of a fully insured and reliability vehicle to travel to and from jobsite and offsite locations.

Class G drivers license in good standing.
