Ogilvie Mountain Holdings LP is a pipeline construction and maintenance contractor based out of Hope, BC. We specialize in pipeline maintenance involving integrity digs, cut-outs, and construction related activities including valve installs, piping upgrades, hydrotesting and varies activities related to operation and upgrades to pipeline infrastructure.
Labourer $28.50 - $32.00
We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Pipeline Labourers to join our field team. This role involves supporting pipeline construction, maintenance, and integrity projects in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and eager to learn all aspects of pipeline operations.
Candidates with prior oil and gas experience are preferred; however, training will be provided to hardworking and reliable individuals who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bolt-up/flange assembly and ensure work is completed to specifications.
- Assist with pipe handling, alignment, and installation tasks
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and work areas
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with tools, materials, and equipment
- Safely spot and support heavy-duty equipment operators on site
- Follow all site safety procedures, hazard assessments, and environmental regulations
- Participate in daily tailgate/safety meetings
- Identify and report hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist other trades and crew members as required Qualifications & Requirements
Assets
- Journeyperson or apprentice Millwright and/or Pipefitter experience.CraneSafeBC
- Level A/Full Scope certification for folding boom and/or rigging tickets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid First Aid Level 1
- H2S Alive
- CSTS/PCST
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
- Complete any assigned Client Orientations
- Drug and Alcohol testing, as required
- Experience with hydraulic torquing equipment
- Hotline Experience an asset
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking with ability to prioritize in a demanding environment
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and commitment to providing exceptional service
- Strong communication, creativity and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work out of town, as required – LOA provided.

- Physical Demands: Position requires employee to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, reach and kneel. Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs above shoulder height. Operation of jackhammers, rock drills and air wands are frequent tasks.
Work Environment
Work is outdoors in rough terrain and under extreme weather conditions and in an environmentally sensitive area.
