What You’ll Be Doing
As a Laundry Attendant, you are the engine room of our housekeeping department. Your mission is to ensure a steady flow of pristine linens and towels.
- Sort & Load: Efficiently sort linens by fabric type and soil level.
- Wash & Dry: Operate industrial washers and dryers, ensuring the correct chemical settings and temperatures are used.
- Fold & Press: Master the art of the "perfect fold" for towels and bedsheets.
- Quality Control: Keep a sharp eye out for stains, tears, or worn-out items, and treat them as necessary.
- Supply Management: Keep the linen closet stocked and organized so our Housekeeping Room Attendants have everything they need to succeed.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean, safe, and lint-free laundry room environment.
What You Bring to the Table
- Ability to work independently.
- Available to work weekends as required.
- Stamina: You’re comfortable being on your feet for your shift and can lift up to 30 pounds.
- Detail-Oriented: You can spot a stray thread or a faint smudge from a mile away.
- Reliability: You understand that the hotel stops running if the laundry stops moving.
- Team Spirit: You’re happy to jump in and help colleagues when things get busy.
- Experience: Previous hotel or commercial laundry experience is a plus, but we are happy to train anyone with a great attitude!
