Wage for this position is $23.76 per hour.
Daytime Shift (Monday to Friday)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to all Customer and Service Center inquiries in a timely and professional manner via phone, fax and e-mail
- Provide customers with proof of deliveries, status of shipments, invoices, rate quotes, pick up request, etc
- Provide reports & data entry requests to other departments and internal
- Provide Coverage for scanning when required
- Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Positive, Pleasant and Professional attitude
- Commitment to provide superior customer service
- Experience in a call center or dispatch environment is an asset
- Proficient Computer and Telephone Skills
- Experience in Truckmate System is an asset
- Experience within the LTL freight industry preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Able to work in a busy, time sensitive environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to take own initiative on projects
- Awareness of our Corporate Objectives and Principles
- Team Player – has respect for self and co-workers
