We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong commitment to sanitation and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, cashiering, and serving is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is desirable but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
